As the intriguing beats come in and The Weeknd’s vocals follow you can tell this is a track that will be repeated on every playlist.

Kendrick’s raps about fighting himself, fighting the pain and fighting the pain of life that ends up being very relatable. Even when he raps about the corruption in higher powers and looking in the mirror to be that superhero that the world needs.

This blended with The Weeknd’s vocals allows for a track that is smooth in the transitions between the artists but also very real with the lyrics and it’s clear to see this is what we’ll be seeing more of with both artists.

‘Pray For Me’ has just a simple beat towards the start but as you go through the track the beat develops just like the lyrics do and it’s fascinating to see what these two talented artists can bring to the table next.
