Solent Showcase presents ‘Forest’

‘FOREST’ – an immersive video installation at Solent Showcase, opens to the public on Friday 23rd October, and runs until 28th November.

Forest is an audio visual journey through the changing landscape using multiple video projectors and surround sound to allow the audience to step into nature.

It is a collaboration between DJ and electronic musician Natalia Kulabuchova (Associate Lecturer, Digital Music) and Julian Konczak (Senior Lecturer in Media and Post-Production). It uses the AIME installation protocol devised by Andrew Horsbrough (Lecturer in Media Technology) and his team at Southampton Solent University.

The exhibition was opened by Southampton author Philip Hoare, and you can find out more about the project by visiting Solent Showcase or browsing at theinteractiveforest.com
