Alisha Godber is an 18 year old drummer based in Poole, Dorset whose ambition is to work as a session drummer. Alisha has been playing the drums since the age of eight and on leaving school at 16 attended the Bournemouth Academy of Modern Music (BAMM) for two years studying drums and left with a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Music. Alisha is currently a student at Solent University developing her skills as a drummer.
Alisha played the drums for a college production of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ which she enjoyed and would love to have the opportunity to play for other theatre musical productions in the future.
She also spent a short time before going to University as a drummer in a local band gigging at various venues, an opportunity that she really enjoyed and would love to be able to play for other bands.
Alisha is a friendly, outgoing and reliable person and is happy to work independently or as part of a team. She enjoys playing a variety of styles of music including pop, rock, indie and jazz. Alisha has good listening and rhythm skills and is capable of improvising as well as sight reading.
