Happy Meal LTD are the most interesting band to come out of the capital city in a while. Over dissonant and often chaotic instrumentation, the shirtless frontman howls of his discontent. The band strives to develop punk as a genre with the use of electronics – synths and drum pads – without straying too far from the beaten track.
Weird is the new cool. With the bands’ psychopathic glazed eyes, great musicianship and their revival of the new wave aesthetic, HMLTD tick all the boxes for a fantastically gritty evening of entertainment.
