Over the last few years there have been many reports of much loved grassroots live music venues closing down around the country.
At Solent Music, we’re passionate about the future of these venues because they are the lifeblood of the industry and because this is where artists, technicians, promoters, managers and journalists learn their trade and begin to build the contacts they need to succeed in the music business.
The Music Venues Trust have been asked by government to create the economic case for grassroots music venues, by getting together some evidence on the economic activity that takes place because they exist.
In partnership with UK Music, MVT is asking people to take part in an incredibly short and simple survey – just six questions, all multiple choice, it takes less than a minute to do.
