The BA Popular Music Performance course recently hosted an A&R clinic featuring Ben Hood of Sony Music and Pete Simmons of Universal Music Group.
Our students got the chance to showcase their music both live and recorded, and to get direct feedback from industry professionals.
The guests discussed what record labels were looking for today, and gave advice on where to gig and how to build the following and ‘buzz’ that are the first steps to gaining record label interest.
