On Tuesday 8th March 2022 Whatsername will be holding an International
Women’s Day event titled Unite for Women at The Black Phoenix,
Southampton from 6PM. It will feature performances from Leah Tolksdorf, Bella
Hooper and more to be confirmed, plus music industry guests to network with.
Formed at Solent University Whatsername is an all-female promotion and events team with a passion for diversity and inclusivity.
Celebrating the achievements of women across the music industry Whatsername sets out to provide a safe environment and community for people to share their experiences, as well connect with those who share the same values.
Since forming in 2020 Whatsername has released a female focused magazine, a line of
merchandise and a series of live events in Southampton.
