Honorary Degree owner Craig David releases official Children In Need single ‘All We Needed’

With a backlog of 20 UK Top 40 hits and over 14 million records sold worldwide, Craig David is an artist Southampton Solent University is very proud to call the owner of our Honorary Degree. The singer was made Doctor of Music in 2008 for his contribution to the music industry and his manager Colin Lester is a regular guest speaker at the University. Read more on Telegraph.

It’s great to hear Craig David will release this year’s official BBC Children in Need single ‘All We Needed’. The song is taken from his comeback album Following My Intuition, which topped the Official Albums Chart – his first Number 1 record since his debut album 16 years ago. David will perform the song on the BBC’s Children In Need telethon next Friday (November 18).

“This song is extremely personal to me. I’m so proud that it’s the BBC Children in Need single this year,” David said on BBC Radio 2 this morning.

All profits from the song will go to the charity, Children In Need has confirmed.
